A119 Mini 2, $138 $99 (Save 28%)
For a front only dashcam under $100, it’s hard to beat the A119 Mini 2 with a 2K Starvis 2 sensor.
A329 1CH: $399 $329 (Save 18%)
On the other end of the spectrum is their new flagship A329. It records in 4K, 60fps, lets you add an optional rear cam, and adds some extra features like external SSD support for extended recording capacity.
2CH Front / Rear
A129 Plus Duo, $179 $164 (Save 8%)
This is the dashcam from the recent viral insurance fraud video, but nowadays it’s worth springing for the A229 Plus at minimum for a few extra bucks.
A229 Plus 2CH, $249 $189 (Save 24%)
Features a 2K Starvis 2 sensor both front and rear.
A229 Pro 2CH, $359 $279 (Save 22%)
The Pro upgrades the front cam to a 4K Starvis 2 sensor. The A229 Pro’s are the primary dashcam I run in both of my family’s vehicles.
A329 2CH, $469 $399 (Save 15%)
Viofo’s latest flagship that adds 4K 60fps up front and SSD support.
IMO the A229 Plus/Pro are the sweet spots in price/performance.
3CH Front / Interior / Rear
Add a third interior cabin cam with the 3CH versions.

Thinkware
Thinkware’s dashcams specialize in the energy saving parking recording mode. I like these for long term parking recording.
U3000 2CH $549 $459 (Save 16%)
The U3000 uses a 4K Starvis 2 sensor up front and 2K for the rear. It also adds radar front and rear to track vehicles and wake up the dashcam to record before any impacts occur.
Blackvue
Blackvue offers the best cloud recording to turn your car into a remotely accessible security camera.
Get remote notifications while you’re away from your vehicle or even livestream into your car in realtime.

Uniden prices fluctuate quite a bit on Amazon, but you can typically find their detectors on sale.

Longest range with arrows and bluetooth. More affordable than new R8w with WiFi.
Uniden R7 for $499 $445 (Save 11%)
Best bang for the buck arrow detector. Pair with custom firmware for more features.
Uniden R4 for $379 $328 (Save 14%)
Longest range non-arrow detector. More affordable than new R4w with WiFi.
Uniden R3 for $299 $268 (Save 10%)
It’s a classic, but personally I’d spring for the R4 for a few extra bucks.
Escort
My recommendations for the Escorts are on hold for the time being while they sort out performance issue in their firmware, but they do have a RD on sale early if you’re interested.
Max 360 Mk II for $549 $499 (Save 9%)
This is an arrow detector that’s a Uniden R7 competitor. The R7 performs better, but the Escort offers Bluetooth and app integration.
Misc
Blendmount (Save 10% w/ coupon “Vortex10”)
This is a solid aftermarket mounting solution to avoid dealing with suction cup failures. I run a Blendmount in each car and I highly recommend them.
