In the middle 70s with a 76 Pontiac Trans Am, black and gold of course, I started with a Fuzzbuster 1, quickly upgraded to a Bearfinder, both were Xband only but at the time all they ran in Mississippi. Bought a Bearfinder 2 soon after a MPH radar salesman happened to stop right across from my work location demonstrating the latest patrol car mounted I/O Kband unit. One of these days I’ll tell the rest of this story. The short of it is, I just bought the 4th detector I’ve had after the Bearfinder 2 played out in the early 80s and it was the R3 based on a lot of youtube research, mostly YOURS. Driving while Aware again is More Fun. I’ve been without a detector for about 10 years and didn’t realize the advancement they have made. Thanks, Willie Bell Gloster, MS.

Love the reviews. Always wanted to get a RD but never had one before. Wife thinks it would just be annoying with all the false positives but I drive a lot more than she does. Been following your channel for some time and have been eyeing the R7 as well as the Max360c. Keep up the good work!

VR, looking forward to more great reviews, setups etc. For 2020.
Would like to see testing of some new and slightly older radar with fully updated firmware. For instance we know the Escort Max had a dismal beginning, but how does it fair now with the latest updates. Same for rideline/ ex and 360? Same for the Uniden and Rodenso lineup.
Plus, keep pestering MV to find out what and when the next gen V1 is coming out. Or has he called it quits?
