So if you want one, you can now get a DFR6 for $144.99.
The DFR7 is available for just $188.99.
To get the deal, use the links above and then type in the coupon code “VORTEX” and you’ll see the discount in your cart.
That price on the DFR7 is especially nice… That’s almost half the price of a DFR9 and it’s the most affordable way to get GPS lockouts.
There’s a limit of 2 per order and the sale lasts through Tuesday.

Thanks Votex for the info. on the great DFR 7 discount… Just a note I don’t know if was just my experience but when I tried to get the VORTEX discount on BugDig website I could not get your discount code “VORTEX” to activate… For me, the only way I got the website to apply/recognize your discount code was to order through/using your email… Again just my experience.
Thanks so much Vortex for the info and the great discount!!…

So they said that you have to use the custom links that I shared and if you go to BuyDig directly, the coupon won’t work. Is that what you were doing? I’m not totally clear on what it took for you to make it work. Thanks for reporting and I’m glad you’re enjoying the nice discount! 🙂
No… I went to BuyDig website and manually ordered the DFR7 and when I pushed the coupon apply button, it did the spinning thing like it was trying to apply the discount code and then when the spinning stopped the discount was NOT applied… Tried several times with same results. When I did the same thing using your e-mail to get to the BuyDig website and ordered manually using your code it successfully applied the discount… I don’t know why it happened?… just an abnormality of some sort I guess… I just wanted to FYI in case someone else had a problem trying to apply the discount code… No big deal… In the end I did get the discount and I really appreciate your informing us and making it happen… Thanks again!

I know tis deal has expired, but I’m shopping to replace my old/lame Whistler CR90, and wanted your thoughts on DFR9 vs DFR7. Like at what price difference are the new features worth, or not worth it?
Just got a DRF7 from Beach Camera on 1-27-19 for $129.99!
I bought this detector on your recommendation a while back and it is complete junk. I just never got around to mentioning it to you. It is the worst radar detector at detecting radar I’ve ever used. Ever. I literally will see the cop on the side of the road before the radar detector goes off. My old Escort 9500ix runs circles around this thing. I have no idea why you, or anyone else, would think this is a good radar detector. It’s trash. You’re better off just driving with your eyes open. You’ll be alerted quicker.

If an officer is using instant on, that will happen with most any detector. Feel free to take a look at any of the many tests done with the detector, whether it’s my test or someone else’s, and you’ll see its capabilities and how it stacks up to the competition.
How’s it going? I did get this radar based on you and someone I know recommendation. It did save me from a ticket. He was sitting in complete darkness and the radar did its thing. The only thing I’m having trouble with is… Updating it. I cannot get anything unzipped or if it does… It has no files. I don’t know if I have the wrong unzipping software, but maybe you can help me out. I’m trying to unzip it from my MacBook Pro which is running Ventura. Thank you if you can.
