I want to thank you for posting such informative videos re: Dash cams.
My search for a dash cam started a little over a month ago, after my daughter was in an auto accident, she wasn’t hurt thank goodness. The car in front of her stopped short and the car behind her rear-ended her. So she had damage to both the front and rear of her car.
After the accident I purchased a very reasonably priced (cheap) camera – I returned it the next day. The second dash cam was a Geko dash cam, a little better but still lacking in features. That was also returned.
I watched a video of a parking incident. Re-playing the video, one could see that they had hit the car as they pulled into and then quickly pulled out of the parking spot.
I am deciding between the 2 channel Thinkware Dash Cam or the 2 channel Blackvue.
Not having a dash cam in the car makes one feel so vulnerable.

Last month a lady driver rear ended me when I completely stopped my car at traffic signal. She blamed me that I was rolling back and bumped her car. Insurance companies settled the case as ‘split liability agreement’ that is 50/50. I had no proof to show my innocences.
Then I purchased ‘ Rexing V1P‘ 2 channel dash cam but I was not satisfied with it and I need parking feature as well.So I returned it. Thinkware F800 Pro Dashcam is high end dash cam with lots of features including cloud but it is not in my budget. Hope I win.

Yes it would be cool to have one. I have tried using my iphone but of course that doesnt work…I would like to have one setup to record my mirror mounted R3, but not sure how to do that…is it a different bracket? Vortex do you have a guide or video on how to do that?

Do you mean like mounting the rear dashcam on your rear window and then spinning it forward so it records inside the cabin and captures your mirror mounted R3?
Yes but will try the Gopro from rear window facing forward. Those files are so large are you of aware to compress/make them snaller?
